Dates, Start Times and Venue

The Asia Artist Awards are the one year-end show that puts K-pop idols and screen actors on the same stage on the same night, and for 2026 they return to Taiwan. The ceremony runs over two days at Kaohsiung National Stadium, the open-air arena in Zuoying District built for the 2009 World Games, where last year's tenth-anniversary edition was held:

  • Day 1: Saturday, December 5
  • Day 2: Sunday, December 6

Each day has its own lineup and its own ticket. Kaohsiung's city tourism listing gives a 3 p.m. red carpet and a 5 p.m. start on both days, in local time, which is one hour behind Seoul. The organizers may still adjust those times, so check again in the week of the show.

The show is hosted by the Korean entertainment outlet StarNews and produced by the AAA Organizing Committee with MOTIVE and D-SOW. The performers were announced in eight rounds between July 28 and September 3, and on September 15 the organizers split the full cast into Day 1 and Day 2. This guide follows that split. We will update it at the same address when the broadcast partners and any further names are confirmed.

Day 1, December 5: Who Performs

Day 1 has the longer singer list, 25 acts in all:

  • Accusefive
  • ALLDAY PROJECT
  • ATEEZ
  • Choi Ye-na
  • Dayoung (WJSN)
  • &TEAM
  • Hearts2Hearts
  • IDID
  • ITZY
  • Joohoney (MONSTA X)
  • KickFlip
  • KISS OF LIFE
  • LNGSHOT
  • MONSTA X
  • Naniwa Danshi
  • NEXZ
  • OURBIRTHDAY
  • RESCENE
  • RIIZE
  • SUPER JUNIOR-D&E
  • tripleS
  • Wonpil (DAY6)
  • WOODZ
  • Xdinary Heroes
  • Yeonjun (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

This is the night for fans of performance-heavy boy groups. ATEEZ and RIIZE are the biggest draws, and our guide to RIIZE's acoustic single "Insomnia" covers the group's latest release. MONSTA X appear both as a group and through Joohoney's solo slot. The bill is also wider than a standard idol lineup: the Taiwanese band Accusefive, the Japanese idol group Naniwa Danshi and SUPER JUNIOR's duo D&E all play the same night.

Read the list closely, because several artists are split across the two days. Yeonjun performs his solo stage on Day 1, while TOMORROW X TOGETHER perform as a full group on Day 2. Five acts are booked for both days: Dayoung, LNGSHOT, NEXZ, RESCENE and tripleS.

Day 2, December 6: Who Performs

Day 2 has 22 singer slots, with more of the newest groups and several solo stages by members of bigger acts:

  • ALPHA DRIVE ONE
  • ATEEZ's Mingi, Seonghwa and Wooyoung
  • Chaeryeong (ITZY)
  • CLOSE YOUR EYES
  • CORTIS
  • Dayoung (WJSN)
  • KiiiKiii
  • LNGSHOT
  • MEOVV
  • NEXZ
  • NMIXX
  • Park Ji-hoon
  • QWER
  • RESCENE
  • Sung Han-bin
  • TOMORROW X TOGETHER
  • tripleS
  • TUIDE
  • TWS
  • Tzuyu
  • Yuna (ITZY)
  • ZEROBASEONE

The headline acts on Sunday are TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ZEROBASEONE, with CORTIS, TWS, NMIXX and KiiiKiii carrying the newer generation. ITZY's Yuna and Chaeryeong each have a solo slot, a day after the full group plays. ATEEZ return on Day 2 too, this time as a unit of Mingi, Seonghwa and Wooyoung rather than the full group.

Two names do double duty. Tzuyu hosts Day 1 and performs on Day 2, and Sung Han-bin hosts Day 1, then performs on Day 2 both on his own and with ZEROBASEONE. Many of these artists also play the MAMA AWARDS in Osaka two weeks earlier; our MAMA AWARDS lineup guide lists who plays which night there.

Hosts, Actors and the Popularity Vote

Hosts. The four hosts split the two nights. Tzuyu and Sung Han-bin take Day 1, and Jang Won-young and Ji Chang-wook take Day 2. Jang Won-young is hosting AAA for the sixth year in a row, and Sung Han-bin returns to the role after two years. Tzuyu, who was born in Taiwan, was the last host confirmed, on September 8.

Actors. AAA gives actors their own stage time, and this year's actor list runs to 25 names across both days.

  • Day 1: Ahn Hyo-seop, Bae Jong-ok, Choo Young-woo, Dahyun (TWICE), Go Youn-jung, Heo Nam-jun, Kim Seon-ho, Kim Soo-hyun, Lee Da-hee, Lee Hong-nae, Moon Sang-min, Park Ji-hoon, Park Ji-hwan, Yoon Kyung-ho
  • Day 2: Byeon Woo-seok, Eum Mun-seok, Heo Sung-tae, Hyeri, Jang Da-ah, Kim Hye-yoon, Kim Jae-won, Kim Yoo-jung, Lee Da-hee, Lee Jong-won, Lee Sang-yi, Moon Sang-min, Shunsuke Michieda, Yoon Kyung-ho

Moon Sang-min, Lee Da-hee and Yoon Kyung-ho attend both days. Park Ji-hoon appears as an actor on Day 1 and as a singer on Day 2.

Popularity vote. Fans decide the Popularity Awards in six categories: male actor, female actor, male group, female group, male solo and female solo. The pre-vote ran on the STARPOLL app from September 4 to 11 and the preliminary round on IdolChamp from September 16 to October 6. The final round is open on IdolChamp until November 4 at 11:59 p.m. KST, and the final result combines the preliminary round (30 percent) with the final round (70 percent).

Tickets, Getting There and How to Watch

Tickets. Official tickets are sold only online through tixcraft, the Taiwanese ticketing site. Seats come in six price tiers from NT$1,980 to NT$6,980, plus a NT$200 service fee per ticket, with accessible seating at NT$3,490. Card-holder presales ran on September 17 and 18, and the general sale opened on September 19. The limit is two tickets per account per day, four across both days. Payment is by credit card only, seats are assigned automatically, and you cannot pick your own seat. Tickets are collected at a 7-Eleven ibon machine in Taiwan from five days before each show: from November 30 for Day 1 and from December 1 for Day 2. If you missed the sale, watch the tixcraft page for released seats rather than buying from resellers, and note that the organizers do not refund tickets if the lineup changes.

Getting there. Take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line to World Games/National Sports Complex Station (R17); the stadium is a short walk from the station. From Kaohsiung International Airport the Red Line runs straight there in roughly 40 minutes, and from Zuoying, where high-speed trains from Taipei arrive, it is one stop. Direct flights from Seoul to Kaohsiung take about three hours. Expect heavy crowds on the platform after the show, and give yourself time to get in before the red carpet.

How to watch. The 2026 broadcast and streaming partners have not been announced yet; we will add them here once confirmed. For reference, last year's edition aired live in Korea on MTN and streamed on Weverse, with regional partners elsewhere in Asia. If you are planning a longer K-pop trip, the Seoul side of the season is in our guide to year-end K-pop concerts in Seoul.

Sori's Note

What makes AAA sound different from every other awards show is the room. Kaohsiung National Stadium has no closed roof, so the fan chants do not bounce back off a ceiling the way they do in a dome. They roll out across the stands and keep going, and on a warm December night in southern Taiwan that sound is half the show.

Watch the seats as much as the stage. Actors and idols sit together for hours here, and the moments people share afterwards are often a reaction from the front rows rather than a performance.

Sori · Culture Editor

I'm Sori, BeautiPin Seoul's culture editor. In Korean, sori means sound, as in pansori, and sound is where my curiosity starts: a line from a drama, a chant at a festival, a chorus that travels the world. I keep too many playlists, collect concert pamphlets, and can't leave a tradition alone until I know why it survived.
