What Is THE SIN : PARALLEL WORLD?

Last updated: November 3, 2026

THE SIN : PARALLEL WORLD is a spinoff single from ENHYPEN, the HYBE boy group managed by BELIFT LAB, and it is the last release in THE SIN series. ENHYPEN announced it on their official Weverse notice at midnight KST on October 26. It is the group's third release this year, arriving three months after their previous album and a few days before their sixth debut anniversary on November 30.

To see where it fits, it helps to know the series. THE SIN began in January with the seventh mini album THE SIN : VANISH, led by "Knife," a vampire love story about a couple who break a taboo and run away together. The eighth mini album, THE SIN : BLISS, followed on August 21 with the title track "Bloody Paradise." It went to No. 1 on the US Billboard 200, sold more than two million copies, and won the group a music show grand slam, a first prize on every major weekly show, for the first time since their debut.

PARALLEL WORLD is the side story that closes the arc. The label describes it as the tale of the same lovers, who learned in BLISS that simply being together is a blessing, now finding that they are destined for each other in another, parallel world. BELIFT LAB also frames the single as a thank-you to ENGENE, the fandom, for a year of support.

One more thing new listeners often ask: ENHYPEN are now six members, Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. Heeseung left the group in March to work as a solo artist under the same label, so BLISS was the first album by the six-member lineup, and PARALLEL WORLD is the second.

When Does It Come Out Where You Are?

The release happens in two steps. The digital single goes up on Friday, November 20, at 2 p.m. Korea Standard Time on Korean and global music services, and a single CD sold only in the United States comes out on the same day. The physical single for Korea and the rest of the world follows on Monday, November 23, at noon KST. In Japan, the group's official site lists November 27 as the delivery date for copies ordered through Japanese stores.

Here is what 2 p.m. KST on November 20 means around the world:

  • 2 p.m. in Tokyo and Osaka
  • 1 p.m. in Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore, and noon in Bangkok and Jakarta
  • 5 a.m. in London and 6 a.m. in Paris or Berlin
  • Midnight in New York, at the very start of November 20
  • 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, in Los Angeles
  • 4 p.m. in Sydney

The 2 p.m. slot is why the single lands at midnight on the US East Coast, the start of a new chart week. The same afternoon is busy elsewhere too: TWICE's Nayeon releases her single album at the same hour, and that evening ENHYPEN are on stage at the MAMA AWARDS in Osaka. Our list of K-pop comebacks this month has every other confirmed release date and time.

Tracklist, Versions and Pre-orders

The tracklist was revealed on October 31. The single has three songs:

  1. "I Want You" (title track)
  2. "Don't Stop"
  3. "ILY Season"

"I Want You" is about two people recognizing each other on instinct and realizing it is fate, which fits the parallel-world story. "Don't Stop" carries the same idea forward, a message about moving toward each other without hesitating, and "ILY Season" is a song for ENGENE.

Pre-orders opened on October 26 at 11 a.m. KST. According to the group's official Japan site, the physical single comes in these editions:

  • Standard: three versions, DREAM, DAY and NIGHT, each with a photobook, CD, stickers, a set of six postcards, a poster and random photo cards
  • ENGENE ver.: a smaller jewel-case edition in 12 versions, six DAY and six NIGHT
  • Weverse Albums ver.: a card package with a QR code that opens the music in the Weverse app instead of a CD

Store benefits such as selfie photo cards differ by retailer and are first come, first served, so compare the official store pages before you order. The single counts toward the Korean Hanteo and Circle charts, and in Japan toward Oricon and Billboard Japan, except for the Weverse Albums version, which the Japanese charts do not count.

Teaser Schedule, Music Video and the MAMA Stage

BELIFT LAB posted two promotion calendars on October 30, and they set out the whole run-up. All times are KST:

  • November 3, 10 p.m.: concept film "DREAM"
  • November 4, midnight: concept photo "DREAM"
  • November 5 to 10, 10 p.m. each night: concept films "DAY & NIGHT"
  • November 11, noon and 10 p.m.: concept photos "DAY," then "NIGHT"
  • November 12, 10 p.m.: official music video teaser
  • November 13, 11:59 p.m.: official music video
  • November 20, 2 p.m.: digital release and US single CD
  • November 23, noon: physical release

The unusual part is the order. The music video for "I Want You" comes out a full week before the song itself, so the visuals arrive first and the audio follows on November 20. The calendar ends with one more date, November 25, under the line "I Want You, ENGENE."

November 20 is also the first night of the MAMA AWARDS at Kyocera Dome Osaka, which appears on ENHYPEN's own calendar, and the organizers have announced a special ENHYPEN stage tied to the film Dune: Part Three; our MAMA AWARDS lineup guide has the full bill for that night. We will update this page at the same address as the concept films, the music video and the release arrive. Sori's Note

Most K-pop series just stop. A new era starts and the old story is quietly left behind. THE SIN is getting an actual ending, and it is a soft one: after a year of knives, taboos and a prison-set paradise, the last word is a three-song single called "I Want You," with a fan song tucked at the end.

That is why I would watch the music video on November 13 before anything else. With a week between the picture and the sound, the story gets to land on its own first, and then the songs on November 20 can do what codas do, which is let you stay a little longer.

I'm Sori, BeautiPin Seoul's culture editor. In Korean, sori means sound, as in pansori, and sound is where my curiosity starts: a line from a drama, a chant at a festival, a chorus that travels the world. I keep too many playlists, collect concert pamphlets, and can't leave a tradition alone until I know why it survived.
