The First Half: November 2 to 9

The month opens on Monday, November 2, with three releases at the same hour. TWS put out TO US, their second single album, with three songs led by the title track "Call My Name." Said out loud, the album title sounds like the group's own name. TREASURE return the same evening with SHOCK, a hard-hitting hip-hop digital single that follows June's mini album NEW WAV; our TREASURE SHOCK guide has the members and local release times. xikers, the KQ Entertainment boy group, release their eighth mini album, ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING, in the same 6 p.m. KST slot.

RESCENE follow on Tuesday, November 3, with PULSE, their first mini album since "Love Attack" climbed back up the charts this summer. It has five songs led by "With," and a heartbeat concept down to its signature musk scent. Then on Friday, November 6, P1Harmony release BLOW UP, the last chapter of the hero story they have told across their albums since 2020; the full background is in our P1Harmony BLOW UP guide.

Monday, November 9, is the busiest day of the month, with three releases at 6 p.m. KST. NCT DREAM release DREAM AFTER DREAM, their first album as six members, led by the disco-funk title track "Boogie Woogie." ITZY's Chaeryeong makes her solo debut with the four-track mini album Lovesick, becoming the third ITZY member to go solo. A2O SOUL release Superstar, a five-track EP with two title tracks.

The Second Half: November 13 to 20

ATEEZ open the second half on Friday, November 13, at 2 p.m. KST with GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6, their 15th mini album. It has five songs with "UP" as the title track, and "Drip" has been out since October as the pre-release single. The group performs at the KGMA in Seoul before the album arrives.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER release their ninth mini album, PERFECT STORM, on Monday, November 16, at 6 p.m. KST. The six-track album is led by "Angel Bite," and it arrives the day after the group's world tour opens with three nights at KSPO Dome in Seoul, from November 13 to 15.

Friday, November 20, brings two 2 p.m. releases. ENHYPEN release THE SIN : PARALLEL WORLD, a spinoff single that closes the THE SIN series they began with THE SIN : VANISH in January and continued with THE SIN : BLISS in August; the physical single follows on November 23. TWICE's Nayeon returns the same afternoon with the single album NA-sty, her first solo release in about two years and five months.

What Time Do K-pop Releases Come Out Where You Are?

Nearly every release this month drops at one of two times, 6 p.m. or 2 p.m. KST. Here is what those hours mean around the world in November, after North America and the UK have set their clocks back for winter.

Korea (KST) Japan Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore London (GMT) New York (ET) Los Angeles (PT)
6 p.m. 6 p.m. 5 p.m. 9 a.m. 4 a.m. 1 a.m.
2 p.m. 2 p.m. 1 p.m. 5 a.m. Midnight 9 p.m. the day before

The 2 p.m. slot lands at midnight on the US East Coast, which is why it is a common choice for global releases. In Korea, new songs usually appear on Melon, Genie and Bugs on the hour, and on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music at the same time. Music videos generally premiere on the artist's or label's YouTube channel at the release time.

Not confirmed yet. Other November releases are being talked about in fan communities and reports, but their agencies have not announced a date. We leave them off the table until they do, then add them here.

November is also award-show month, and many of these artists bring their new songs to the stage within days of release. Our guides to the KGMA on November 7 and 8, the Melon Music Awards on November 14 and 15, and the MAMA AWARDS on November 20 and 21 have each night's lineup.

Sori's Note

Look at the dates and one pattern jumps out: Mondays and Fridays. Monday releases get a full week of music shows ahead of them, and Friday releases line up with global chart weeks. November 9, with three 6 p.m. drops, is the day I would clear my evening for.

If you only have room for one new album this month, I would pick the one that ends something. P1Harmony closing a six-year story and ENHYPEN closing THE SIN are both rare things in K-pop, a planned ending.

Sori · Culture Editor

I'm Sori, BeautiPin Seoul's culture editor. In Korean, sori means sound, as in pansori, and sound is where my curiosity starts: a line from a drama, a chant at a festival, a chorus that travels the world. I keep too many playlists, collect concert pamphlets, and can't leave a tradition alone until I know why it survived.
