When Does Nayeon's NA-sty Come Out? Release Time, What's Confirmed and Her Solo Story

TWICE's Nayeon releases her new single album NA-sty on Friday, November 20 at 2 p.m. KST: 2 p.m. in Japan, 1 p.m. in Taiwan, and midnight Eastern (9 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, November 19) in the US. It is her first solo release in about two years and five months, after the mini albums IM NAYEON (2022, "POP!") and NA (2024, "ABCD"). JYP Entertainment has not yet announced the title track or the tracklist.

When NA-sty Comes Out in Your Time Zone

NA-sty arrives on Friday, November 20 at 2 p.m. Korea time, which the official teaser also gives as midnight Eastern Time. Because Korea and Japan share a clock, fans in Tokyo and Osaka get it at the same moment as Seoul, while most of the US gets it on Thursday night.

  • Korea (KST): Friday, November 20, 2 p.m.
  • Japan (JST): Friday, November 20, 2 p.m.
  • Taiwan: Friday, November 20, 1 p.m.
  • US Eastern: Friday, November 20, 12 a.m. (midnight)
  • US Central: Thursday, November 19, 11 p.m.
  • US Pacific: Thursday, November 19, 9 p.m.

The single album goes out on the major music platforms at that hour. Daylight saving time in the US ends on November 1, so the Eastern figure above is standard time, exactly 14 hours behind Seoul.

NA-sty: Confirmed and Not Yet Announced

Last updated: October 29, 2026. This section is revised each time JYP Entertainment or TWICE's official channels release something new.

Why "NA-sty"? The agency explains the title as a blend of "Nayeon's style," the idea of simply being herself, and the English word "nasty," which gives it a playful, cheeky ring. The concept promises her familiar bright, lovable side next to a bolder and more candid one.

Confirmed so far:

  • NA-sty is a new single album, Nayeon's third solo album and her first in about two years and five months.
  • It comes out on Friday, November 20 at 2 p.m. KST (midnight ET).
  • JYP announced it on October 23 through TWICE's official channels with a logo teaser called "CAPTIVATED MODE: ON." The clip opens on a computer screensaver window set against a cloudy sky; selecting "NA-sty" sets haloed, winged icons drifting across a black screen in changing colors before the logo and the release date appear.
  • It is a late-autumn release, a change from the June timing of both of her earlier solo albums.

Not announced yet:

  • The title track
  • The tracklist and credits
  • Concept photos, the music video teaser and the full promotion schedule
  • Music-show appearances in Korea

From POP! to ABCD: Nayeon's Solo Story So Far

Nayeon was the first TWICE member to release a solo album. IM NAYEON, her first mini album, came out on June 24, 2022, led by "POP!," a bubblegum dance-pop track with a candy-colored music video. It debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, the first time a K-pop solo artist had reached the top 10 of that chart.

Her second mini album, NA, followed on June 14, 2024, with "ABCD" as the title track. The music video swapped pastel sets for a busy city street, red hair and a pink fur coat, and the album also opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. That made Nayeon the first female K-pop soloist with two top-10 albums on the chart, and two June releases in a row are how she came to be called K-pop's summer queen.

She has kept a solo thread running inside TWICE's catalog too. "MEEEEEE," her solo track on TWICE's TEN: The Story Goes On (October 2025), is a dance-pop song she helped write. And on October 2 this year she released "Bye Bye Inhibitions," a collaboration with the Brazilian DJ Alok, then joined him on stage at EDC Korea to perform it together for the first time. NA-sty is the first full solo project to come out of that run.

Where to Listen, Watch and See Her Next

Listening is simple: NA-sty goes live at 2 p.m. KST on the major music platforms, from Korean services such as Melon to global ones such as Spotify and Apple Music. For video, follow TWICE's official YouTube channel, where the first teaser went up, and JYP Entertainment's channel, home to the music videos for "POP!" and "ABCD."

The day after the release, Nayeon is on the bill for the MAMA AWARDS. Chapter 2 takes place on Saturday, November 21 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, starting at 3 p.m. JST, and she is one of the solo acts with a slot of her own. Which songs she performs there has not been announced. Our MAMA AWARDS lineup guide covers both nights, tickets and the live stream.

NA-sty also lands in a busy season for solo releases. BLACKPINK's Jisoo is building toward her first full-length album, tracked in our Jisoo solo album guide, and on a single day in October, Lisa's Press Play and Minnie's Thai EP came out side by side.

Sori's Note

The detail I keep coming back to is the season. Nayeon's solo music has always arrived in June, bright and sunlit, and the summer-queen label stuck because of it. Choosing late November for a title that winks at the word "nasty" feels like a deliberate step away from that image rather than a scheduling accident.

The teaser plays the same game. Halos and angel wings are about as sweet as symbols get, and the title is the opposite. My guess is that the gap between the two is the whole point of NA-sty, and the title track will tell us which side wins.

I'm Sori, BeautiPin Seoul's culture editor. In Korean, sori means sound, as in pansori, and sound is where my curiosity starts: a line from a drama, a chant at a festival, a chorus that travels the world. I keep too many playlists, collect concert pamphlets, and can't leave a tradition alone until I know why it survived.
